To check the status of your application, use your ID, CAO or UKZN student number in the field provided.

The outcome of your application could be one of the following:
Offer
Firm Offer: You have been offered a place in the programme.
Conditional Offer: You have been offered a place subject to meeting specific conditions (e.g. submission of outstanding results or documentation).
Offer with Residence: You have been offered a place in the programme together with residence accommodation.
Pending (Decision in Progress)
These statuses indicate that a final decision has not yet been made:
Pending: Your application is still under review.
Waitlisted: Your application meets the requirements but placement depends on availability.
Referred for Decision: Your application has been referred for further consideration.
Awaiting Academic Record or Supporting Documentation: Additional documentation is required to complete the assessment.
Regret (Unsuccessful Application)
An application may be unsuccessful for one or more of the following reasons:
The minimum admission requirements were not met.
The programme has reached full capacity.
The offer was withdrawn because it was not accepted within the stipulated timeframe.
The offer was formally declined by the applicant.
B. Accepting an Offer
How to accept an offer:
Kindly note that acceptance of the offer for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students is now an online process. You will receive a link on the Email address you provided when you applied and login details will be sent by SMS to your cellphone. This will enable you to access the UKZN Student iEnabler to indicate acceptance of one or more applications and to upload copies of required documents.
Please note that the Acceptance of Offer and Indemnity documents shown will need to be downloaded, completed and signed before they can be submitted along with other required documents.
